ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Jessika Joy Ouellette and I am a 25 year old elementary

school teacher in the Montreal area. I specialize in religious studies

and have taken method courses in art, physical education,

as well as music instruction.

My Education

I have completed my studies in kindergarten and

elementary education at McGill University in Montreal, Qc.

My Interests

During my free time I enjoy listening to music or getting lost

in a novel.  I love to read novels that are historical fiction or

fictional pieces related to family, romance, or simply humorous.

I am also a self-proclaimed foodie! I am known to be

someone who likes to try new restaurants and I am always open to

trying diverse cultural dishes. I live in the perfect city for this interest

considering the choice of restaurants is so vast here in Montreal!

Lastly, I am known for my interest in photography of all sorts. Although I admire fashion and editorial photography, I am particularly fond of landscape photographs of Winter.

Fun Facts

Everyone has a handful of personal characteristics that make them unique. Similarly, there are

some facts about myself that are quite interesting!

For firsts, I love everything that is lavender!

The plant is my favourite:

  • Flower

  • Scent

  • & Colour

I am constantly being compared to Martha Stewart!

I absolutely love baking, do-it-yourself crafts, as well as event planning! I do it on my spare time regularly. Whether it is for friends, family, or for myself, I become very passionate and put all my efforts towards making sure the event is as great as possible.

I have been living independantly since my sixteenth birthday!

When I tell people this they often give me a look that resembles pity. However, although I was quite

young, I believe that this experience has only benefited me. Considering I was still in highschool

when I moved out on my own, I rapidly learned the necessary qualities I would need to be a

responsible and successful young woman. Inevitably it has prepared me for the realities of the

world and has helped me grow in countless ways.

I used to live on a farm!

Coming from Dunham in the Easten Townships, it is not uncommon from someone to originate from a rural lifestyle such as farming. I had cows, a rooster, two rabbits, a hamster, a hunting dog, as well as countless cats growing up there.
