When planning a lesson I must ask myself:

  • What competencies in the QEP am I targeting?

  • How does the plan accommodate to different levels, abilities, and interests?

  • What problems might I encounter?

  • What alternative plans do I have in case I need to switch activity?

  • How will the students demonstrate their learning?

 

When planning a unit I must ask myself:

  • What are the desired learning results of this unit?

  • What essential questions will anchor students learning?

  • What skills are needed to achieve desired results?

  • What is acceptable evidence to show desired results?

  • What is the sequence of activities will lead to the desired results?
